本隱私權政策說明「保固存摺」(以下稱「本 App」) 如何處理你的資料。本 App 由個人開發者周固廷 (Gordon Chou) 開發與維護。我們的核心原則很簡單：本 App 沒有自己的伺服器，不會蒐集、上傳或販售你的個人資料。

一句話總結：你輸入的所有保固資料、照片與檔案，預設都只儲存在你的裝置上。只有在你主動開啟「Google Drive 備份」時，資料才會被上傳到你自己的 Google Drive App 私有資料夾，而開發者完全無法存取這些資料。

1. 我們處理哪些資料

本 App 會在你的裝置上處理以下你自行輸入或選擇的資料：

保固資料：產品名稱、購買日期、保固期限、店家、備註等你輸入的文字。
照片與檔案：你為產品拍攝或選取的封面照片，以及你附加的發票、保固卡、說明書等照片或檔案。
App 設定：主題、提醒時間、排序方式等偏好設定。
Google 帳號電子郵件：僅在你啟用 Google Drive 備份並登入後，用來在畫面上顯示「目前連結的帳號」。此資訊只儲存在你的裝置上。

以上所有資料都儲存在你裝置的本機資料庫與 App 私有儲存空間中。開發者沒有任何伺服器，因此看不到、也不會收到上述任何資料。

2. 我們不會蒐集的資料

本 App 不含任何廣告、第三方分析或追蹤工具 (例如 Google Analytics、Firebase Analytics、廣告 SDK)。
本 App 不會蒐集你的位置、聯絡人、通話記錄、裝置識別碼或使用行為。
本 App 不需要註冊帳號，也不會建立任何使用者帳號。

3. Google Drive 備份 (選用功能)

本 App 提供「Google Drive 備份」作為選用功能。只有在你主動開啟並登入 Google 帳號後才會啟用。啟用後：

本 App 會把你的保固資料 (資料庫與相關檔案) 打包後，上傳到你自己 Google Drive 的「App 私有資料夾」(appDataFolder)。
這個資料夾是 Google Drive 專為應用程式設計的隱藏空間：連你自己在 Google Drive 介面中都看不到它，其他 App 也無法存取，只有本 App 能讀寫。
備份資料只在你的裝置與你自己的 Google Drive 之間傳輸，不會經過開發者的任何伺服器。
本 App 僅要求 drive.appdata 這一個 Google Drive 權限範圍 (即「僅存取 App 私有資料夾」)，無法讀取你 Google Drive 上的其他任何檔案。

Google API 服務使用者資料政策 (Limited Use)： 本 App 透過 Google API 取得之資訊的使用與傳輸，皆遵守 Google API 服務使用者資料政策，包含其中的「限制使用 (Limited Use)」要求。

4. App 權限說明

本 App 僅在必要時請求以下權限，且都是為了你主動觸發的功能：

通知 (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)：用來在保固快到期時送出本機提醒通知。
網路 (INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)：僅在你使用 Google Drive 備份/還原時，用來與 Google Drive 連線。
寫入外部儲存空間 (僅 Android 9 及以下)：僅在你選擇「下載檔案到裝置」時，用來把檔案存到下載資料夾。
相機與相簿：拍攝或選取照片時，本 App 透過系統內建的相機與檔案選擇器完成，本 App 本身不請求相機權限，也不會存取你相簿中其他未經你選取的照片。

5. 資料分享

本 App 不會將你的資料分享給任何第三方。唯一的資料傳輸是你主動開啟備份時，將資料送往 你自己的 Google Drive；在此情況下，Google 對該資料的處理適用 Google 隱私權政策。

6. 資料保留與刪除

本機資料：解除安裝本 App，即會一併刪除裝置上的所有保固資料、照片與檔案。
雲端備份：你可以在 App 中登出 Google 帳號以停止備份；若要刪除已上傳的備份，可在 App 中操作，或前往 Google 帳號的第三方存取設定移除本 App 的授權。

7. 兒童隱私

本 App 並非專為兒童設計，也不會在知情的情況下蒐集兒童的個人資料。由於本 App 不蒐集任何個人資料，因此不涉及兒童資料的處理。

8. 資料安全

你的資料儲存在裝置的 App 私有空間中，受 Android 系統的沙箱機制保護。與 Google Drive 之間的傳輸均使用 HTTPS 加密連線。請注意，妥善保管你的裝置與 Google 帳號，是保護資料安全的重要一環。

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how "Warranty Tracker" (the "App") handles your data. The App is developed and maintained by an individual developer, Gordon Chou (周固廷). Our core principle is simple: the App has no server of its own and does not collect, upload, or sell your personal data.

In one sentence: All warranty data, photos, and files you enter are stored only on your device by default. Only when you actively enable "Google Drive backup" is your data uploaded to your own Google Drive app-private folder, which the developer cannot access in any way.

1. Data the App Processes

The App processes the following data — all entered or chosen by you — on your device:

Warranty information: product name, purchase date, warranty period, store, notes, and other text you enter.
Photos and files: the cover photo you take or pick for a product, and any receipts, warranty cards, manuals, or other photos/files you attach.
App settings: preferences such as theme, reminder time, and sort order.
Google account email: only after you enable Google Drive backup and sign in, used to display the "currently linked account" in the UI. This is stored only on your device.

All of the above is stored in a local database and the App's private storage on your device. The developer operates no server and therefore cannot see or receive any of this data.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

The App contains no advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, ad SDKs).
The App does not collect your location, contacts, call logs, device identifiers, or usage behavior.
The App requires no account registration and creates no user account.

3. Google Drive Backup (Optional)

The App offers "Google Drive backup" as an optional feature, enabled only after you actively turn it on and sign in with a Google account. When enabled:

The App packages your warranty data (database and related files) and uploads it to the "app-private folder" (appDataFolder) of your own Google Drive.
This folder is a hidden space that Google Drive provides specifically for apps: you cannot see it in your own Google Drive interface, and other apps cannot access it — only this App can read or write to it.
Backup data is transferred only between your device and your own Google Drive, and never passes through any developer server.
The App requests only the single Google Drive scope drive.appdata (access to the app-private folder only) and cannot read any other files in your Google Drive.

Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use): Warranty Tracker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions only when necessary, and always for features you actively trigger:

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to send local reminders when a warranty is about to expire.
Network (INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): only when you use Google Drive backup/restore, to connect to Google Drive.
Write external storage (Android 9 and below only): only when you choose to "download a file to the device," to save it to the Downloads folder.
Camera and photos: photos are taken or selected through the system's built-in camera and file picker. The App itself does not request camera permission and does not access any photos in your gallery other than the ones you explicitly select.

5. Data Sharing

The App does not share your data with any third party. The only data transfer occurs when you actively enable backup, sending data to your own Google Drive; in that case, Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data: uninstalling the App deletes all warranty data, photos, and files on your device.
Cloud backup: you can sign out of your Google account in the App to stop backups; to delete an uploaded backup, you can do so within the App, or revoke the App's access at your Google account third-party access settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the App does not collect any personal data, no processing of children's data is involved.

8. Data Security

Your data is stored in the App's private storage on your device, protected by the Android sandbox. All transfers to and from Google Drive use encrypted HTTPS connections. Please note that safeguarding your device and Google account is an important part of keeping your data secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
